For this week’s ‘Don’t Dillydally’, we’ve surfaced a range of items we’re sure will sell out, including a new deodorant from favorite editor Necessary, a nail polish collection inspired by the game from Xbox and OPI, and tomato soup scented candles from Camp and Campbell’s.
Necessary, which makes body care products loved by beauty editors and dermatologists, released a gel deodorant. Unlike their popular stick deodorant, this one is made with AHAs and niacinamide, which work together to reduce stink, help with discoloration, and tame underarm bumps. It is currently available in two scents: fragrance-free eucalyptus and anti-sinus.
In other beauty news, Topicals yesterday launched High Roller, a smoothing skin toner formulated to soothe razor bumps and help fight ingrown hairs. Its main ingredients are salicylic acid, niacinamide, zinc, and glycolic acid, which exfoliate, brighten skin, and reduce oil production when combined. It comes in an easy-to-use roller so you can apply it mess-free.
Nail polish brand OPI has teamed up with Xbox on a gaming-inspired palette for spring. The collection includes 12 shades ranging from shimmering pinks to creamy nudes to Xbox green. There is also a virtual component. Starting February 1, your purchase will unlock in-game content for Forza Horizon 5 and Infinite Halo. Many of the collaboration’s shades have already started selling out, but some — like Can’t Ctrl Me (a pastel blue) — are still in stock.
Champion continues to collaborate with pop culture luminaries. This time they teamed up with Oreo. There are hoodies, slides, and t-shirts, all of which have Oreos in varying stages of consumption. There are half-eaten, whole, and even Oreos dipped in milk. These comfy slippers are a little more subtle than some of the other options in the collection but still have enough Oreos to feel fun.
Olympic gold medalist Sunisa “Suni” Lee is the latest celebrity to release a collection with e-tailer Pretty Little Thing. The activewear selection is full of matching sets like this one, which is made from a seamless super-stretch fabric and comes in eye-catching green and soothing charcoal grey.
Fans of Campbell’s classic soups will now be able to burn candles that smell almost identical to their favorite foods. The brand has teamed up with experiential children’s store Camp on two limited-edition candles inspired by two of their most popular soups: chicken noodles and tomato. Given the recent rise in popularity of tomato scented candles, we think this tomato and grilled cheese scent is a good one to try on the trend.
Lego and Pottery Barn have come together on a small collection of homewares. The offerings include beach towels (with or without a hood), a duvet and sham set, organic cotton pajamas, and this colorful sheet set, which features a Lego maze, is made of GOTS-certified organic cotton and is available in double, full, and queen sizes.
St. Agrestis, which specializes in bottled and canned versions of Italian cocktails, has entered the soft drinks space with its Phony Negroni. It contains all the elements of a traditional negroni without the liquor. To help mimic the bite of alcohol, they added carbonation, making it a slightly fizzy appetizer.
Dick Bruna’s Miffy comes to life in a new collaboration with LeSportsac that includes shoulder bags, bracelets, bags and book pouches. The collaboration’s book sleeves are particularly cute, mimicking the covers of classic children’s books. This medium sized pouch features Miffy in the snow and is large enough to hold a few small hardback books. In case you want to carry a hardcover or two, there is also a larger pocket.
Baby Phat released a surprise collection with Macy’s yesterday, and it’s a walk down a memory lane adorned with jewels and logos. There are oversized hoodies, zip-up denim dresses and velor tracksuits – most of which run up to a size 3X (or US 24). This tube top features the Baby Phat logo in metallic script and ruching at the sides so you can crop it however you like. It is available in two colors: black and hot pink.
Adidas and Prada are back for their third collection, launching tomorrow on adidas.com and prada.com. This time around, the collection incorporates Prada’s Re-Nylon fabric, made from recycled plastic waste. The 21-piece collection includes reimagined track pants, a sleek bucket hat and the much-hyped Prada brand forums, which we’re sure will go fast.
