Popcaan presents a new song and meets Naomi Campbell in Paris
Popcaan previews a new banger and links to supermodel Naomi Campbell in Paris.
After hitting the streets of London, Popcaan flew to Paris ahead of Paris Fashion Week. The Unruly Boss are currently on tour and living their best life in the process. Last weekend he made headlines for his kind gesture of giving young Malta fans a shopping spree. The Jamaican artist performed to a sold-out crowd at Dream Weekend before flying to London for another show while joining celebrity friends in the UK.
On Thursday, Popcaan shared a hilarious clip of himself trying out a new pair of kicks. It’s unclear what brand it was, but it’s clear the dancehall deejay was cutting on looks. “Has that feet name,” Poppy said. Fans have been asking him for more photos wearing the boots, but it looks like the artist is saving them for a big occasion.
“Killy out in Paris,” he wrote.
Popcaan also shared several photos of him in Paris meeting model Naomi Campbell and also hanging out with rapper Bamby and some members of his Unruly outfit, including Cobe Unruly. Of course, you can’t be in the fashion capital of the world and not show off your own gear, so Poppy released a promo clip showing off hoodies from her Unruly store.
In this promo clip, Popcaan previews an unreleased song. “Prada and Fendi, likkle plus me dress in a fully unruly, Fold it on the right of if fi me Trudy, kill me hate them and go smooth, Prada me Prada, Gucci Me Gucci, gal see me and waan run the coochie, shot in your mouth because you talk to yourself so vaguely, you gave me cologne like bruce lee…money longer than hope road”, Popcaan deejay.
In terms of music, the dancehall star recently landed a collaboration with rapper Post Malone. The collaboration will add to Popcaan’s international credits having previously worked with artists like Drake, Gorillaz, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Jorja Smith, Burna Boy, Davido, Jamie xx, Megan Thee Stallion, and more.
The St. Thomas DJ is also working on his new album, tentatively titled Great Is He. A release date for the project is not yet available, but fans can expect it to hit streaming services later this year or early next year.
