Sneaker News Best releases 2021 July 19 to July 25

Next week is huge, not just for sneakers but for the sport as a whole. After a one-year wait, the Tokyo Olympics will finally begin, with the support of sneaker brands and fans around the world.

But before we really get into the Summer Games, adidas kicks us off on a luxury note. Alongside Prada, the brand is creating two new colourways of the Luna Rossa 21, adding both “Core Black” and “Solid Gray” to the wardrobe of the haute couture silhouette. Then, CLOT sends it back to 2006 by reissuing – with a few modifications – the Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death” that Kanye wore when he appeared in Hong Kong. The Free Run Trail completes this Tuesday, adding yet another big addition to the model’s return.

Energy does not pick up until mid-week as the LeBron 8 South Beach finally makes its long-awaited return. Plus, FTC is releasing its own Nike SB Dunk Low, a vibrant white and blue celebration of skateboarding’s early days on the global stage. Three Dunk colourways keep the party going the next day, sporting “Purple Pulse,” “Yellow Strike,” and the “NY vs. NY ”. Come Friday, expect Space Jam to make another appearance atop LeBron 8, as Off-White and the Phillies apply their signatures to Air Zoom Tempo NEXT and Question Low, respectively.

Closing Us is none other than the Air Jordan 12 Twist, officially marking the start of Jordan Brand’s fall 2021 collection. The Forum 84 ADV is also released the same morning, its design co-signed by skater Diego Nájera.
