The dear Chanel Advent calendar torn on TikTok: “I’m done”
Chanel’s expensive Advent calendar has been heavily criticized on social media by some disappointed customers.
The $ 825 box, shaped like a giant Chanel No 5 Eau de Parfum bottle, hides surprises such as stickers, a magnet, a flipbook and an empty dust bag. The few beauty products inside, including two lipsticks, a perfume, and a body lotion, are about sample size.
The popular TikTok video sharing app has exploded with users calling Chanel.

One user, @eliseharmon, kicked off the review with a public unveiling on her account, which drew a reaction from other TikTok users.
“Chanel just blocked me“, she announced to her followers in a video Thursday.” They blocked me! What’s not clicking, Chanel? Something is wrong.”
After opening box # 18 and revealing more stickers, the TikToker reacted in frustration: “I’m finished.“
Other luxury brands have run their own Advent calendars, including Dior, whose product costs $ 550 and includes all sizes of makeup, skincare, and sundry beauty samples. Chanel’s calendar is sold out online.
